Giant Statues of the Home of the Finest Cowboys- Impasug-ong Tourism Center

Last October 09, 2011, we went to the Monastery of Transfiguration at San Jose, Malaybalay, Bukidnon together with the Bohemian Express Travel and Tours Inc. Family with some guests to attend the mass and to experience the well-famed "Breakfast with the Monks". Actually, it is an ocular visit to the place.

One of our itinerary after-which is the Impasug-ong Tourism Center located in the Sayre Highway which is near in the town proper, the Municipality of Impasug-ong, Bukidnon. What's the catch about this "new tourism spot of Bukidnon" is the Tourism Center itself. The reason is actually because of these Gigantic Statues of Headdress, the dancers of the Kaamulan Tribe and their well-known cowboys.

A quick trivia:
Do you that the Municipality of Impasug-ong is known as the "Home of the Finest Cowboys?" Now, you know!

If you are traveling from Cagayan de Oro to Bukidnon or Cagayan de Oro to Davao via Buda route, you can surely see this spot since it is an ideal stopover for photo enthusiast. Trust me, you will surely surprise with these giant statues.

Actually, my first glance to this work-of-art statues was during my trip to Davao last August 2011. It was past midnight when we stopped to capture some pictures and believe me, it was so cold. You better wear long sleeve or any wear attire that will protect you from the cold caress of the weather.  I was surprised to see this again in the morning. And trust me, it is indeed a magnificent masterpiece.

Now I can say, "I've been here."
